Hey, RWB, can you edit your avatar to get rid of that little 4 eyed mud skipper on Freddy's right?
Don't talk about Helen Clarke like that. It's not nice..

It would be Pearce as he is guaranteed barring Injury to be playing 80 minutes a week.

Mitchell Pearce should be our captain for the next 5 years but I can only think that at this stage Mini knows more about football than Pearce does.
Mini may just surprise a few this year playing with a structure, rather than playing ad hoc football.
The whole team appear to genuinely like and respect the bloke.
So put me down as a Mini supporter and I hope he has a big one this year.

The captain should be someone who leads by example. Not Pearce and certainly not Friend. Boyd Cordner is the man.

                Hard to argue with that.

I think Boyd could be our captain long term, as you are right he is that classic lead by example type of player (think Wayne Pearce and Bradley Clyde).

However to asnswer the question on this year, if Mini got hurt, id give it to Maloney.

Pearce does not need the extra pressure that goes with the role. He has enough weight to bare on his shoulders and must focus this year 100% on becoming a consistant footballer.

Yep, give it to a player that has been at the club for five minutes.

That would be awesome for team spirit.
