    Injury Update
    Monday 25 February 2013 2:00 PM
In 2013, the Sydney Roosters Online team will work closely with our Medical Staff to keep you up-to-date with any injuries sustained and the progress of all unavailable players.
Make this your first stop after every round, this NRL season, to stay up-to-date with all the injury news.
    PRE-SEASON (Week 17)

    Tautau Moga
Sydney Roosters young-gun Tautau Moga suffered an ACL injury in the first week of pre-seasom training, at the end of 2012. The incident happened in a non-contact training drill.
Moga will continue running this week, after starting last week for the first time since having a knee reconstruction. He is expected to return to action midway through 2013.

    Jack Bosden
Utility forward Jack Bosden has had a disrupted 2013 pre-season due to hip surgery at the back end of last year, but has returned to training with the squad on a lighter workload.
Bosden also sustained an injury to his left wrist at training last week, which is a recurrence of an injury sustained in last season's NSW Cup Grand Final for Newtown. This will not extend his return to play date.

    Lama Tasi
Hard-hitting Lama Tasi suffered a minor setback at the beginning of 2013 with a knee complaint requiring minor surgery (arthroscope).
Lama is now back training, on a lighter workload than the full squad and is aiming for a return in Round 3 of the NRL season.

Kennedy not mentioned. I'm wondering why robbo didn't play him in the trials and whether he will start in rnd 1. From all reports, he has had a killer off season. Maybe not playing him was robbo not revealing his hand too early in the trials.
    Comment of the year:

Maybe the club is going to stand him down for " behavioral issues "...

sbw isn't on that list either. although listing him as injured would be a good enough excuse for others to laugh at our expense.

The dogs haven't been able to mark the lines at training for a couple of months, someone mistook the line marking paint for something else, that hasn't happened since the days a current superstar was playing at the club.

From what I've been told he was just rested.

Will be right to go against souffs.

the club is being very cautious with Evans, he had back/hamstring injuries over the earlier part of the offseason and hasn't been able to do the work the majority of the squad has done.

he will have to spend the early part of the season at Newtown proving his fitness before even being considered for first grade.

MK played at least 20 mins against Manly in Gosford, later in the 2nd half he was doing sprints right in front of us, up the sideline, he ended up not going back on, he certainly didn't look concussed though, strange I thought??
