The club has a responsibility to help him, the club bought him across the dutch at 17.

He should be suspended indefinitely, then, when the court issues are resolved, both parties can agree on the best outcome for him. Remember, he hasn't been convicted yet.

A decision to punt him now is a poor decision, without trying to help, even if it is a repeat offence, as this sends a very poor message of what type of organisation the Roosters are, ie, in relation to the development of boys into men.

Helping him achieve the best outcome is the right thing for the Roosters to do.

My problem is, with the season we've had is that every player would excercise some COMMON SENSE. If they want to drown their sorrows, then do it at a smaller pub, away from the limelight. Why go to one of the busiest hotels in Sydney which is notorious for it's troublesome nature and hope that the trouble will steer clear from you ?

Jake Friend and Myles are lucky to still be with the squad. Jake's case is shrouded in doubt and hearsay which is why i barely gave him a pass.
However, to start trouble with police - well, there's no excuse at all.

If this was his first offence, then I'd agree with what you've said.

But the fact that he's been charged twice with the same offence means he learnt nothing from his first indiscretion, despite the support he would have received from the Roosters.

The bloke needs to start taking some responsibility for his actions. And the Club need to stop pandering to these blokes and start making them pay a heavy price for their off field brain explosions.

I'm happy for his contract to be terminated, it should/will be, either now or after court.
My main message is the club should continue to help him get over his issues, they bought him here, they have a responsibility to help him, that's the right thing to do, and that will give other players and their families confidence that the club will look after them......up to a certain point.

Sa also has a bigger responsibility to help himself and admit he has an issue with drinking and violence. If he isn't capable of that, then nothing the Roosters do will assist.

And unfortunately, on many occasions, the player won't admit the problem, so any assistance rendered is wasted.

I dont normally give a fark what players do off the field, but in this case I believe the only way to teach this dope a lesson is to sack him.

Didnt we already get Sa's parents over too keep him happy cos he was homiesick???

If so, IMO we have done as much as we need to. These attitudes start at home. The guy hasnt learnt from what he did last time, although many including me defended him cos we were told he was merely defending himself.

He has played like a biarch all season. I believe even players in poor form deserve respect as long as they have a go. Most of our players fall into that category, theyre just shit or badly coached. But Sa, he has so much potential, he just dogs it when we need someone to stand up. That sort of cancer spreads thru a club.

Id piss him off now. It will show the rest of the players at our club, its about whats above their left tit, not about individuals. For too long weve lacked discipline, its time for the club to show some much needed grit.

                You know it makes sense.

Yep. Guess this opens up our salary cap a bit... reckon we'll be giving Lote another call? *probably been offered millions in France so I doubt we'll get him*

                  Who's gonna replace Sa though?

Also... why can Inglis play?!? Gets busted for bashing up his girl + causing serious damage... and he's sweet to play... Sa... opens a gate aggressively and it hits a police officer in the leg, causing no damage at all... this is called an assault, he's charged with "assault" and we stand him down. At least we can say that our management has some kind of moral high ground over some other clubs we know of...

In a statement released on Monday afternoon the Roosters said: "Whilst the matter is now in the hands of the Police and we will continue to respect this process, taking into account the specific circumstances of this incident and the previous behavioural issues that have faced the Club this season, a decision has been made to breach the player in terms of his playing contract which will see him appear before the Board at a time to be set.

"Sa is deeply remorseful over this incident however is has become obvious that the Sydney Roosters and the game will no longer tolerate such behaviour.

"The Club is extremely disappointed with Sa’s actions and apologises to our Members, our Sponsors and all our Stakeholders for this incident. "

Well you know, Inglis's court case was held over until October. The pretty little flowers sooked that they had to miss him for all the finals campaign, so they got their way with their super-star player and could play him.

Smith will be loving this shit. In fact, he'll have to part a sea of it to get to the farking players.

I'm hoping Brain's ego wants a "good news" story regarding Sa and his "turnaround" under a disciplined regime.

                            Fark I am stoned!!
