My personal opinion is that Brian Smith MUSt get rid of Riley Brown...he hasn't got any skill and is terrible in defence. I hope Sa goes to I neally guarantee that he will stuff up and do silly mistakes which costs the roosters points. I read everywhere how everyone is again SKD...keep in mind his our best try scorer. His defence needs improving that's about it. I would love to see MASON stay, we all know if he actually has a go he will be good for our go forward in attack. Hauraki must go aswell..he doesnt look and play like a first grader. Next year i hope Pearce, Aubs, lapaea, friend, jones, mason, carney, Anasta FPN must stay in the team.

I have to admit I'm quite stunned that you've stated that.

From what I've seen Friend offers far more to the Roosters side than Brown does. Especially creativity wise.

Friend's commitment and willingness to dig deep for the team has been one of the few highlights of 09. And at 19, he still's maturing, on and off the field.

He has talent, what he needs now is a coach like Brian Smith who will work with him to hone his skills and improve him as a player and an individual. Fittler has been a total failure at both.

I was Leroy Browns biggest fan last season, he was hard, he owned the middle of the ruck in defence, he had a good passing game but wasnt flash in attack. Thats why he was replaced after 30mins by Jaubs/Friend so they could add spark out of dummy 1/2, not that they did very often. We seemed to win and gel better when Leroy was in the starting side.

But since his double broken arm hes been crud. For some reason Freddos been telling him to kick the footy and attack more, when that wasnt his go while he was playing good footy. Well I guess Freddos been telling him to play that way, especially since picking Mini at 5/8 and leaving Pearce stranded as our ONLY option.

Friend IMO has surpassed both Leroy and Jaubs. I believe hes a starter and an 80min player. I believe hes our future at 9.
