I've never posted a link before so, not sure if this will work.
Not a bad article. Gus is on his high horse again.

When composing a "Quick Reply," there is an icon (called Link) that looks like a green and blue globe with a two part white chain link placed in front of the globe and slightly right of centre. Click that icon, copy and paste the link to the external page.

Great article. The last bit going through the team gave me goose bumps.

I never read the replies. Haters will be haters just like we hate other teams and players.

contrary to what some think, gus is no dill about nrl and he seems genuinly happy that with sbw and our other squad members easts will again be shooting for the stars! i must enquire why he let jennings go though?

This article is also interesting. Gives an insight into the money SBW is making for the Roosters and the NRL as a whole:

                        http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/spo...-1226589485490

In short, this guy is making millions for other people, but gets criticized if he tries to make what he can for himself.

I must say I am disappointed in some sections of the media (yes, I know, how unusual for me ) who were part of the LOD press conference the other day. I don't know much about him as I could never stand the Cowboys, therefore my eyes glaze over when they play, so I was looking forward to watching and learning more about him. Well, at least 4 of the questions directed to LOD were about SBW, his injuries, likelihood of him playing etc...It was cringeworthy stuff and certainly not LOD's fault. He wasn't the one asking the questions but doing his level best to be polite and positive in his answers. It's not his place to comment on another player's health etc..those are questions for Coach Robbo and this is exactly what LOD ended up saying. Call me crazy but I expected an LOD press conference to be about LOD..not SBW..one question of course is acceptable but to keep going on and on about another player was just unfair.

                              Exactly... haters gonna hate

Great to see Gus on our side (he does have feeling for us.) My favourite part was:

"SBW has not come back to rugby league to fail. He is a proud young man who will do all in his power to prove himself in this environment. He stands alongside new teammates such as Anthony Minichiello, Mitchell Pearce, Michael Jennings, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, James Maloney, Luke O'Donnell, Martin Kennedy, Frank Paul Nuuausala, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Mitchell Aubusson. There is some serious talent and representative class experience in this bunch.

Youngsters on the rise, such as Boyd Cordner, Kane Evans, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Daniel Tupou, give Roosters' fans that added excitement about their team."

Sure he names pretty well all the team, but that's who an experienced coach sees as being superstars/emerging players. As a fan they're all my boys and I'm biased towards them, but I really hope they perform as well as we all know they're capable of this year!!!!!

So much raw talent and some good experience in there finally...
