It's actually funny to see how bad they treat sport given just how much of a life-line it will become in the next five to ten years. None of my immediate circle of friends watch FTA TV unless it is sport. More and more are doing the same with fox, with only the older demographic actually using it for movies/shows/documentaries.

Internet is going to slowly kill off these dinosaurs. The least they can do is preserve the only product that can actually deliver consistent ratings into the future.

It is a valid discussion which belongs on a discussion board. Whether the fans go to the game or not, the size of the TV audience is a major factor which affects the Roosters and the game of rugby league as a whole.

I rang programing at Ch9 today and they said it was up to the sport dept what time games were on. When I said they could have put it on Gem like the cricket he said they had to have special permission to do it.
I did point out that the rivalry between these two clubs goes back over 100 years and is the first game of the season and that Ch9 have been pumping the fact that SBW will be playing his first game back.
Than I said that I noticed that we have the Broncos game live and that they are on most Friday nights and not everyone in Qld supports them.
I hate the fact that Qld doesn't have daylight saving - when does it end?

I just checked out Ch9 programming, Fri Night Footy 7.30 - 10pm Taking of Pelham movie on at 10pm!! The good news is that Hadley doesn't feature in the Taking of Pelham!!!
