Their outside backs are seriously so bloody weak, especially their centre pairing.
Forward pack is also one of those "big bopper" packs that can't actually stand up when they run into quality (check out any game they played against top 8 sides last year for proof).
I'm feeling confident
A common delusion. If you put their nominated pack against ours of Kennedy, Friend, JWH, Geurra, Maubs, FPN, with Moa, LOD and SBW off the bench they are a combined 5 kgs more in weight. Their only boppers are the Burgess brothers and ankles Asotasi. Thier backrow is piss weak compared to ours.
Glad someone does, cause I think they are very stong defensively and that's how Maguire picks his teams, they focus on defence first than let their 3 or 4 dynamic players do the rest, it's very simple but effective strategy.
Pity they don't actually have a great defensive team to go along with such a plan, which is why they were found out against quality opposition every time last year.

Ffs, they just missed the GF. And they'll have improved on last year. I watched them train last Sunday and they looked razor sharp. They'll be hard to beat

They did not come close to Melbourne in week one. They benefited from an appalling finals series set up of playing a terrible Canberra Raiders team. They stumbled in to week three after a season of being outplayed by the better teams in most games.

The "just" missed the grand final by getting slaughtered by Melbourne, beating the Raiders, then getting slaughtered by the dogs. They were as close to a grand final as the bloody titans were in 2010 i.e. nowhere ****ing near it
Any first grade side that doesn't look "razor sharp" in training would be bloody kidding themselves. Its easy to look awesome when you aren't running at anyone and are under no pressure.

looking sharp on the training field is easy....... looking sharp at game time, thats a different story.
Now you seem happy to exault the sharpness of souffs on the training field... i take it you haven't seen the roosters train??

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.
