I like the referee interpretations, but I think Souffs are allowed leniency in the wrestle. WE have massive amoiunts of improvement in our side when combinations start to gel. SKD could use a run in Newtown.
I think the Channel 9 lovefest for the Vermin is sickening. They're not that good.Comment

I am steaming!!! Martin kenedy is the biggest lipstick wearing high heel and purse clutching rugby league player i have ever laid eyes on! He makes me want to puke! I cant beleive he was born a man! What an absolute sissy!! I dont care if we have only played one game if i was coach i wouldnt even let him cut the half time oranges in case he ruins his precious nails! A couple of points:
1. Our discipline remains our biggest obstacle to a successful season.
2. Jennings was very exciting when he had the ball.
3. RTS needs to work on defending on the wing, may be even more reason to move him to fullback sooner rather than later (and that's nothing against Minichiello)
4. It was the first game that a number of players have been in together and their combinations are only going to improve as the year progresses, we had to expect this!
5. And finally, as much as we hate to admit it - Souths are probably in the top 2 teams in the comp and as disappointing as that game was it definitely wasn't a complete disaster
It's a long season and remember that we were all so excited for good reason... Stick by the boys and they will come good!Comment

It's one game. Anyone who thought we were going to gel as a team straight away was kidding themselves, and as much as I hate Souths we were definitely underestimating them coming into the game, they'll go far this season but so will we IMO. There were decent signs there we were just cut open on the flanks by the better team. Be patient with us I am confident we will have a good year.Comment

Souths were too big and strong, in particular the Burgess boys, we didn't look like we were in the arm wrestle at all, very sloppy and disjointed but good signs with individuals, Jennings was impressive and forwards did fair given lack of possession but Souths are the real deal this season.Comment
