Our attack was VERY strong. Jennings had some blinding runs... Kennedy kept smashing it down the middle (with FPN.)
The catch was any time we got a repeat set or had Souffs on the ropes, we'd get them out of gaol by conceding a penalty. Sorry but it wasn't the refs, it was really poor discipline (and I'm glad Robbo accepted that rather than calling it a big ref's conspiracy like Smith.)
Why? Because he'll hammer discipline into the boys and we'll rebound. About mid-season I expect us to gel as a team and become serious contenders in the second half of the season.
Right now we have a lot of new players/tactics that aren't working 100%... yet. Also I suspect Souffs are one of the teams to beat this season.

GLAMOUR SHOW
RUGBY league has always been, or will forever remain, the people's game - but never let it be said it can't attract the big end of town.

The other notable attendee was Italian superstar Alessandro Del Piero, who shoe queen Terry Biviano entertained in the chairman's lounge while her famous Italian husband, Roosters captain Anthony Minichiello, did his best on the field.
At halftime, ADP effortlessly crossed the Grand Canyon-like divide between the foundation clubs when he popped up in Crowe's box.
Meanwhile, former Rabbitoh-Rooster-Rabbitoh Craig Wing, who is back in Australia with the Japanese rugby commitments for this season over, was spotted in the Members.Last edited by roosterproud; 03-13-2013, 03:54 PM.1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020
