It's funny IMO, the forums when we lose.

Some of us tried to say before the game that Souffs are a good side and we may very well be rusty as mofos.

Sadly that's how it turned out.

    Let the tantys roll.

    Exactly mate.

I saw Souffs train a couple of weeks ago and they looked very sharp and well drilled.

We will take a little time.

In saying that I reckon we will beat the Warriors.
I reckon u r right. I am ridiculously confident this week.

And u gotta laugh... what would a game of footy be without Mini dropping at least 1 inside pass

There was one in the second half, I think it was Pearce with a real short ball, maybe two foot. Hit mini on the chest near halfway and bounced into row 34

      Gotta love the guy.

And that sums up what I saw mate.

When all else failed and we were getting desperate players reverted to what they know. Classic example the rushed pressure Mini-Pearce inside ball debacle.

Early on we didnt do that shit, we looked very promising.

Rome wasn't built in a day. This side will take time to get the shit out of their game and retrain themselves.

Look at Souffs early last season they were doing exactly the same thing but by mid season they had turned the corner and came home strongly. Then they start this year where they left off.

        Time and patience.

and contrast that with how slick souths were when they ran the same play. Inglis was so close to being off and gone

Look I know it's only round 1 but fark, everything Pearce does is telegraphed

Yeah I know mate but he's had years of shit coaching like a lot of them, I'm gonna give them time to gel and really knock the bad habits out.

Our start was very promising as was the fact we didn't capitulate against a very strong disciplined side.

Pearce is Pearce. He struggles under pressure. Hopefully when we click and we know the fall back structures as a team he doesn't have to revert to his panic mode.

Swap the two 7s for the last season and I believe we would be saying the same things about Reynolds. The kid is benifiting from great coaching.

            I'm giving it time mate.

I wasn't around much last year and didn't see all the post-match threads. I'm blown away by the negativity from some after 1 loss. Sure it wasn't ideal but we are a new improving team up against a very strong outfit.
As I keep saying, everyone was so excited about this season for good reason. Don't throw it all away after one average performance

And as for the people complaining about having an 'inept number 7' you're kidding, grow up!!!!

Also saw him knock down a runaway Inglis in the 2nd half when he looked certain score, something many other supposedlly better fullbacks have struggled with. I also saw him being very safe at the back & has quite clearly done work in the off season in regards to handling the low grubber kicks.

I wonder how many people here would have given the Roosters any hope of winning this game if they new that, at the 60 minute mark, the penalty count would be 1-8?

We didn't deserve to win the game, but that was a big factor in last night's result.

                    I remain optimistic.

They missed Braith last night. If he was still with the Roosters they probably would have won.

I'm amused how hesitant some are about blaming their new heroes for obvious errors last night.

So far I've seen Mini and SKiD especially, blamed for errors RTS and AV made.

Post Bwaiff we have discovered our new targets of blame on the good old Chookpen.

I'm glad someone saw the same game as me. I thought Mini was good last night. Stopping Inglis 1 on 1 was awesome.

The tackle on a flying Inglis whoI thought was certain to score was absolutely outstanding

Hearing u Kurt. Mini had a red hot go like always it don't matter how much u think the guy has lost, he always gives 100%.
I remember exactly what u r talking about and tbh I did not think he would make that tackle.

It just cracks me up coz its seems to happen at least once every ge he plays.
