I'm amused how hesitant some are about blaming their new heroes for obvious errors last night.

So far I've seen Mini and SKiD especially, blamed for errors RTS and AV made.

Post Bwaiff we have discovered our new targets of blame on the good old Chookpen.

I reckon SKD has to take some of the blame for RTS coming in off his wing.

SKD had only four carries in the match. Woeful for a player on his pay packet.

Mate don't get me wrong I'm not excusing SKiDs obvious defensive errors but I don't believe in blaming him for the kids errors also.

And I realize a kid deserves less blame cos has only played a handful of games compared to an international.

It just seems to me certain players, let's face it the fans favs, are allowed a lot more latitude than players who have been labeled and hung and quartered.

Blaming Mini for AV running his support into the sideline, then not drawing Inglis, then not taking the tackle or dummying instead of throwing a pathetic pass to Minis ankles only backs my observations.

It happened a lot last night on this forum. In fact it's been happening for years on our forums.

It's easier for some to blame the usual scapegoats than dare admit the players they like actually are human and have bad games.

Seeing him back out there was a highlight for me. And I was very impressed with Robbo's press conference too. Usually they make me want to stick pins in my eyes as they are excruciating when we lose but I actually enjoyed listening to his articulate and matter of fact answers.

You're always going to struggle on the wrong end of a 10 - 3 count...

Manly lost the penalty count 8-4 tonight including 5 in a row, they dont panic and just go on with the game, the are second to the chooks in penalties conceded in the past 5 yrs but they seem to make it work.

You didn't think the Crocker dropped ball was a bit rough? That was a shocker. Ref told him he just needed to get his hands away from the ball but he was nowhere near it. Other than that I don't think Reynolds ever ran Lowe back on side when they forced the first drop out. Guerra having his arm stuck was dodgy but we got away with hands on the ball for a Souths knock on after the kick off when SBW came back on. We deserved most of our penalties though. Outplayed up the middle when JWH and Moa came off. And let Souths off the hook multiple times in the first half.
