  • Kennedy

Did everyone else notice how hard Kennedy was blowing after 5 minutes? For a player who promised so much gee he was/has been poor for a while now. I know he had some injury issues, did he do a full pre season?? I just would like to see some aggresion and see him man up and have a real crack, not to much to ask I would think. He should hang around JWH and Moa and hope some of there attitude rubs off on him.

Kennedy needs to watch out, lots of young bulls who will take his job soon if he isn't careful.

I'm not defending MK in any way but I recall the EXACT same sorta sentiment over another prop just a few seasons back.

            Anyone remember The Tontine One???

All the applause when he left turned to tears when he played well for the Faiders and QLD. Then the bagging started of our recruitment/retention policies.

Careful what you wish for is all I'm saying.

            The FlogPen .

            You know it makes sense.

Those sort of scenarios would be few and far between though.

Are we supposed to hang onto an underperforming player for 10 years in case they eventually come good?

Yeah it sucks that Shillo is now a gun, but 99 times out of 100 a powderpuff will always be a powderpuff.

given his injury problems this offseason, it wouldn't surprise if Napa makes his debut first

I wonder if Robbo will have the same tolerance for underperforming players as Smith did, Kennedy/SKD should well in truely be watching their back if they put a couple of more performances in like last night.

It does not matter how slow Martin Kennedy's play the balls are as he is dominated in every tackle allowing the defence to be set.

Dancing Dallas Hood 2.0 more like it. The bloke needs to be shown what a straight line looks like.

                    Chook.

Kennedy was very poor and really hasn't played well since 2010. For a bloke that bent the line as much as he did when he first started playing regular first grade he has been a major dissapointment.

I have not written him off yet but he is certainly no longer a walk up starter in the team.

bs im glad they got rid of shillington he had a shit attitude... he signed with the raiders for the same money maybe less becuase he couldnt crack our first grade team. end quote

a real player would have trained harder to make the team..

kennedy is a smart player but his work ethic has not been the same since the injury.

as for blowing hard i thought the whole team was underdone hence all the play the ball penalties. we were struggling to get to marker their play the balls were so fast.

what i thought was also worrying was our initial contact in defence. we bounce off most times as we were going in too high. the boys need to go for the legs first and next man over teh top not the otjer way around

David "Shillo" Shillington signed for A LOT more money at Canberra than he was receiving from us.

my mistake. i thought it was same or less. i just remember that interview he gave where he said he was unhappy as he couldnt get in the run on side and thats why he was leaving. sick of playing off the bench.
