  • Problems continueing from last year

    Bad habits die hard
Ok the penalty thing...discipline ....they should put together a $100 a penalty fund for end of season trips.
Its always the same blokes now we can throw in Jennings as an honorary member
    Right side
You might say Maubs went ok but he is creating problems for skd he pushes him right out to the wing in attack and skd gets bad flat passes with no room...Lets go back to carney days would have SKD in close and long deep passes with him running at full which resulted in him creating gaps.
It has happend since 2010.Thats the kind of attack SKD thrives on, not Maubs getting his ball and dieing with it or looking for an inside pass...as for his defence well that some thing the coach has to knuckle down with him and sort out.
I still believe Mini is seriously done he will kill us all year
some one has to bite the bullit and let him go.

Go back to the trials where they played with enormous patience but yesterday every thing looked rushed same as previous years .
Like i said the the structure was there for 15 minutes we were on top of them then a few penalties and dropped balls-they crashed
which brings me to one major over sight in the overhaul at this club - no leader or real Captain with thre right knowledge.
donmt worry we will get our mojo going soon enough, we will win plenty and see a big finish to the season but the above will haunt us when the semis come.
SBE and Jennings are huge match winners and they need plenty of ball ...Jennings though always had Minis hands way before joining us

It takes 3 weeks to break bad habits and 3 more to create good ones and people need real motivation to make bad habits good.

If Friend, SKD and Mini are still creating stupid penalties and mistakes after round 6, Robbo needs to spear them to Newtown or the rot will not stop.

    Chook.

and thats fair enough...depends on what type of coach Robinson is .I suspect the changes will be minor with Cordner and and LOD back in .He will probably drop Arona and Kennedy .
Gibson used to have the balls to drop anyone that played dumb and we had a few of those last night

I'm hoping he's one that recognises players, even club legends, need to be dropped for repeated poor performances.

              Chook.

That was Smith and he used threats as a means of discipline rather than acutally disciplining his players. I'm hoping Robbo is different in that regard.

I asked the librarian where the 'self-help' section was, and she said that if she told me it would defeat the purpose.

friend needs to improve his dummy half passes. they are weak as.. look at other hookers and they throw bullet like passes spend less time on the field and have pearce as dummy half when he is off.

The Roosters have 4 new players AND a new coach who is introducing new structures and working out how to play his players. SBW at lock for example is a no go, he'll be better as a fringe runner delivering ball to his outside backs and when he switched into that role last night he vastly improved.

Remember in 2010 we had the same situation, new players, new coach and even though we won our first two the Dogs came out in week 3 and belted us. As the season rolled on we gelled more and more and then had a hot run through the finals.

I have the same hope for this team as I did in 2010. Even in that Dogs game you could still see they were trying to work out the best way to play together.

Why restrict SBW to one side of the field.

                            Lock would suit him perfectly.
