Just got to the Official website.

Fwiw the last time we had 5,000 members was in 2008, every year since we've increased our membership base. One of only about 4 NRL clubs to have done so, I wouldn't say marketing are doing too bad of a job actually.

Yeah there was an e-mail announcing the 10,000th member about a week ago. What are they on about?

Financially the game was a sell-out because people who are ticketed members weren't there. Including:
          - Me and my fiancee (we're both overseas and found a place to watch it.)
          - Dad (who's chronically ill and in hospital but DOES go to important games against the doctor's advice and supports the club financially.)
          - The guy next to my dad in hospital (similar story... his room is full of Roosters gear and he's a gold member... that's all I know.)

11,000 isn't THAT bad. Admittedly we could be bigger, but it's not as if our club's struggling to draw members/crowds.

I think the crowd was bigger than stated when you take into account all the dead souffs members who were there.

I laugh at these cretins, 30000 souffs fans attended the game, great 30000 at $20.00 a head paid for SBW's contract.

I thank the gummies for their contribution to our success this season.

A good nickname for wilson would be Darts, she looks like she has had more pricks in her then a secondhand dart board.

I have messaged Crowe and Mario Fenech thanking them for this exact same thing.
They thought it felt like a home game, and I told them being a homeless mob,any crowd should feel like home...

And if they did a head count there would of been twice as many souffs supporters.

Up until Thursday it was on the official website daily being updated. It was past 11,500 last time I checked. Now the website has been changed to reflect upcoming games, competitions etc. Same with the official NRL site as they had done a list of members for each club and percentage increases/decreases. A couple of weeks ago I posted on here how we had more members than Wests at that stage which I think is excellent seeing as they are a merged club with large followings from both Balmain and the Magpies. I'll try and find it in their archives if I can as it definitely reflected good things for us.

Here we go, bearing in mind this is dated 4th March so obviously not 'real time' figures:

Just found this on their website, I think we should launch a campaign against Bourbon Bec & Rothwit, whenever they write something factually incorrect, there are 2 email addresses below, one to the Press Council & the other to the editor, it'd be great if everyone emails the Press Council & CC's in the editor & we see if we can get some retractions & apologies happening!
