Not sure about Baptiste or Lawton. $ouff$ recently extended Peats contract. Lichaa is signed up until end of 2015. Rein is off contract at end of this season as far as I know, he certainly would be worth chasing and could work very well in tandem with Friend if possible to have both.

I would gladly take Rein, he looks a very good player. If we could have Friend doing the tough stuff and Rein playing as a more dynamic dummy half we'd be set, wouldn't happen though.

Definitely wont happen. Why would he leave a starting spot to come sit on the bench.
I'd rather take Cameron King. He would be cheaper and itching to get a start somewhere. Other then them two there aren't too many young hookers that are good and ready to play first grade.

In saying all that, I think friend is safe at this club anyway. I think nick has invested too much time into him to just flick him now

The penalties are as a result of the others not doing the work they should be.
As soon as we see a fully committed pack, his penalties will fade away.

The penalties will fade away when he and the rest of them stop the little infringements full stop. I watched the Souths game on replay and all those ruck penalties were just silly. They all just have to get the hands away from the ball as soon as they make the tackle. Don't give the ref's the oppurtunity to give a penalty away. You will find that when that stops those 50-50 ones where Crocker and Inglis loose the ball will start to come our way. We are over scrutinised because we have been so ill disciplined for a couple of years now.
The boys have to be super carefull around the ruck area for the next 5-8 weeks and I bet as the time goes by the penalties will dry up. I know it's easier said then done but that's just how it is. Hard work mentally is what it will take to fix the problem we have nothing else
