Is it just me or does anybody else think MK is an absolute waste of 120kgs?? His pathetic effort on thursday made me sick to the stomach! How does a 120 kg prop play like such a sissy??? He got fended about 10 metres back by Inglis and he runs like he doesnt want to break his nails or ruin his hair! I bet he takes his footy boots in his handbag on gameday!!!
Isnt this the guy who tweeted he was so pumped for 2013 to come round? Oh please! Grow a set MK! Apart from JWH and Moa our forwards looked like lil kids against the Rabbits. And that was meant to be a 100 year rivalry. Right now i wish tommy radonikus was our coach so he could slap the taste out of MKs mouth! If he had half the courage of Cordner he would be the best prop in the world hands down! Hes the perfect mould for a great prop but has the heart of a flea! Did we name this fairy as our vice captain? Please tell me that was just a bad dream....

robbo should really show marty 'don't hurt me' kennedy all the flak he is copping on here before our game against the warriors.
tell him if he doesn't make 120+ metres, 20+ tackles and knock a bloke senseless, he wont play another game in roosters colours.

I've said it before and not many know how bad his ankle injury was. MK is good mates with a cafe owner in Balmain who I know well, he was very close to giving the game away. His ankle injury was one of the worst the surgeon had seen and because of his big heavy frame they honestly believed he wouldn't make it back. Now those who saw MK debut and in his first seasons would agree he was as tough as they came, he was a powerhouse, however his injury has obviously affected his confidence, give the guy a chance, with some fitness, he will come good.

That's all well and good mate, but I think Marty needs to be a little fair dinkum about his future. If its going to take him another couple months to get going then he needs to be doing it for Newtown. Not going through the motions . He was crap last year and for such a huge game very very poor the other night.

If his injury was that bad because of his size, the club should have leaned him up and worked on his speed and mobility!

But unlike many, he puts his hand up when he doesn't play well. He doesn't pick the team.

When he missed out on the vc and people question him, he simply said he has more to worry about in holding a spot in the 17.

When people asked him about Evans, he said if he doesn't improve, Evans will be ahead if him.

I'm willing to give him time.

Those bagging him because he is "soft", are probably those who said the same about Shillo. That worked out well.

                  Dont forget SBW.

He should be dropped to Newtown after that effort on Thursday night.

i must be the only person who still doesnt rate shillo as highly as everbody else, i know he has played for oz and qld, but i dont see what everybody else does.

Some say the same about Pearce.

hasnt played for oz yet and due to the lack of halves in nsw he has had an unchallenged run, hope he keeps his spot this yr cos both reynolds boys and mullen should will be putting plenty of pressure on the selectors.

Kennedy is very lucky both Tasi/Evans were both injured in the pre-season, these two will give the punch our bench badly missed against the bunnies, hopefully Tasi is only a couple of weeks away from returning, Evans is more of a problem, he was injured playing for Newtown on the weekend.

I think we would be better served if Kennedy started.

I can never forget when MK came into the game against the dogs a few years ago at ANZ and his first ball was probably the dumbest fumble I ever seen a player do in a football field, (apart from Merritt running for a try at the same ground whilst being chased by Myles and dropping it). Ever since that, I have always been weary about MK's ability.
