NRL to punish the Roosters?

Sonny Bill's contract may have been registered at the 11th hour, but that doesn't mean the NRL doesn't want to punish the Roosters for how the deal went down.

NRL officials are apparently concerned about salary cap issues arising from the meeting Williams and his manager Khoder Nasser had with Channel 9 boss David Gyngell and Roosters chairman Nick Politis at Circular Quay on New Years Eve in 2011.

Enough punishment that we lost the game.

Of course 1-8 penalty counts against us are nothing new.
Lopsided penalty counts against us in the first 3/4 of games when it matters have been rife in recent years.
