I thought it was Mini's two mistakes that led to tries, first one a simple spilled ball on a backline sweep that led to the Johnson try and second when he couldn't bend over and knock the ball dead on the grubber kick for Bill Tupou's try.

That's the way I saw it too.

Yeah, thanks Kurt. I have been waiting and watching and hoping for many years that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. At the start of every season I tell myself that this will be his year, his season of glory, his opportunity to prove the doubters wrong. Anyway, as a halfback he makes a good bench player.

Pearce is a very good Rugby League player, but not a halfback. He could move out wider to 5/8 and concentrate on setting up the outside backs, or he could move to hooker and help control the play, Cameron Smith-style, from the ruck.

There's a clear misunderstanding of a Rugby League fundamental if I've ever seen one.

Under 10's stuff; Your halfback is there to control the player and distribute the ball. There's a reason why people say Cam Smith basically plays like a halfback....

Your 5/8 is the one who should provide creativity to the side, because he receives the ball at second receiver he obviously has more room and thus is relied upon to create points.

Pearce is a very good club halfback. I agree with most he's not origin standard but so what, he's still a very good club halfback and he's the least of our worries.

Two of his stupid mistakes lead directly to Warriors tries, the sooner the club gets rid of him the better. Maloney to half and SBW to 5/8. They should also replace Friend with Mortimer.

DCE, both Reynolds, Walsh, Sandow are all much much better than Pearce. If the club had any brains they'd try and snag one of them.
