Tell us more about how religion ruined Soward's career

Who would you honestly back to make the winning play via a 40/20, a field goal, a chip and chase etc.
Soward and Reynolds have it all over The Teflon Kid is this regard
Anybody that honestly answers Pearce has no idea.
Has has not got the clutch play in his kit bag, he has not got the Footy Brain to make the right play at the right time.
I have said all along he is an above average first grade footballer, no more no less
Having one of these as a halfback does not win you a comp these days.
I have also said as a hooker he would be the incumbant to Cam Smith, he is a hooker playing half, Joey got away with it because he was a freak, Teflon is far from that.
Chook.

Same old Pearce thread rolls around every year. PWN comes out with his usual intelligent insults. R6 defends Pearce to the hill, and the rest join in.
Who really cares? We have our halfback for 4 more years. Time will judge what he makes of his career. Soward looks to be washed up, so lets see how Reynolds kicks on.

Here is a good clip of what Pearce can do.

Why, have you given up your other argument??
As for Soward, simple really IMO Origin farked up Soward's career, he got a big head and was made a scapegoat for NSW loss yet again.
Big Ego and being dropped do not mix
He became a very angry little man.
He chose the church to cleanse his mind and soul
He has other things in his life now, footy is not as high a priority as it once was.
He will never regain that form from 09 and 10

That's where you lose it with me. You knife Pearce but still stick up for Soward.
Soward is a fringe first grader always has been, he will be lucky to be in the NRL in 6 months.

Feel free to quote me but I'm sure I never said that...
"He plays his role exceptionally well but my assertion of him not having a ball playing game isn't based on a statistic, it's based on watching him play in both the 20's and now First Grade. Statistics just serve as the back up of my assertion. Watch him closely, he has good second rowers running off him but he refuses to play into the line he always plays well before it. Reminds me of Soward during his peak with the Dragons during the Bennett era. Everything he does is well before the line and that's fine because it works for the team he plays in as the creative duties fall on other players."

Chook.
Soward is rubbish right now, i cannot and will not defend him, Pearce is not rubbish but ordinary at present, yet all the usal crew will defend that some how.
Both those blokes could not lace a boot next to Reynolds at present.
However taking current form into account i would back Reynolds and Soward to make that clutch play if they played today to get a team home at the death
be honest Chook, answer the question, which one of the three would be less likely to make the play.

Reynolds is a good club player but I disagree with those who suggest he's got the quality to be an origin player or that he's a complete player. He's very one dimensional and Mcguire has been smart enough to fully utilise that.
