If ir was based on this year, surely Maloney would be in front of Pearce

Yeh I had it on IQ and it definitely says "TOP 5 HAVLES RANKINGS 2012/2013".

To base it on 2 games would be a little inconclusive.

Oh my god... I stopped reading your comment replies after this one, because you're arguing the role of a position when you have no idea of the players that you're watching. Hoffman has played a total of four games at lock, with the last being in 2010. Pritchard has never played at lock.

Its a bit different in league. In league you have the left side, the right side and the middle third. The middle third is typically the domain of your hooker, props and in a lot of cases the lock, in old terms it's the 'guts' of the team.

These ratings or KPI's are being used by many clubs. I remember reading Manly and Hasler really believe in them.

Like 6 said it measures a players total impact on a game.

They even went back and reviewed a game from the 60's that Johnny Raper played in and no player since has had a better rating.

I don't think these ratings are the be all and end all but they do have some credibility.

I meant Eastwood, sorry, not Pritchard. My mistake.

Substituting eastwood the point still stands. Bellamy, Hasler and Bennett all use their locks as an occasional ball player and a clear attacking option running holes and trying to pass at or through the line.

Gallen has exactly zero of those skills. He is a prop, and about the 6th or 7th best one in the league that.

Roosters are currently coming first in the comp with line-break assists not including yesterdays game.
