    Well said.

There is more sense in this post that in all of Rooster_6 4,600 posts.

All the youth policy has done is make the Roosters a feeder club to the rest of the NRL. We put up with their crap and when they are experienced and more skilled they go elsewhere.

It's not like Melbourne & Manly's success was based on the back of bringing through a strong group of youngsters.
It's obvious you don't even know what a youth policy is. The storm have always had strong experience to go with their youth. In 1999, for example..do Glenn Lazarus, Roddy Howe etc etc ring a bell?

A youth policy doesn't mean you can't have experienced players as well, it's just a concerted effort to put as many resources into sourcing juniors and developing them.

Signing experienced players doesn't compromise this, I'm still pissed off that the club let Myles & Ryles go.

But lets be realistic, The Storm's success is built on the back of Smith, Cronk & Slater all coming through together. And they continue to keep on bringing through good young talent like Tohu Harris, Widdop, Duffie, O'neil & Bromwich. Their experienced signings don't compromise this development of their juniors they enhance it. It's all about balance, a youth policy doesn't mean that your team has to be full of kids. I fully understand it, I think it's you who takes the name way too literally.
