  • put it this way.

i thought our defence last saturday was pretty good. yes i know it was last week but i just thought about it , put it this way the 3 tries they scored . 2 from errors and 1 was just poor marker work. the johnson try was a error from mini , the 2nd was yeah bad miss tackle from jimmy and mini from being over committed and the last was a error from mini & rts who should of either knocked the ball out or try to run it out. none of the tries really broke our defence or ran over us considering the warriors had big forwards. Anyways hopefully we defend well tommorrow and smash the broncs! go the chookies

We will always be a huge chance if we don't give stupid penaltys away. Play disciplined and with the weapons in our team we can beat anyone.
Unfortunately we have habitual offenders. So who knows.

We look a lot more composed in defence, no one's rushing out of the line and when the other team finds some space out wide all the inside men work had to push across in cover.

Only 5 teams have missed fewer tackles than us which is a positive sign early on.

our only real flaw is rts comes in too much from the wing to defend. almost choke skids to the point skids has to run around him .
the centre of the field looks rock solid, just the skids rts is a bit exposed and grubbers for our fearless leader

I think we'll play well tonight.

I'm coming around to a win.

Bronco supporter from across the road has just said he expects the Roosters to put a big score on them. Would have been close, he said, but with Hodges out..............no chance.

Thems the words I like to hear.

And BJ. Especially that stunned mullet look he used to have when he realised he'd missed the interception, and they'd scored by running throught the mssive hole he'd left.

Our defence was rock solid, Fox Sports stats has us down for giving up 1 linebreak, NRL 2. (they include the Johnson length of the field try as a line break for some reason) If we can somehow break even on the penalty counts or shock horror start winning some good things are coming.

I wouldn't expect it tonight against the darlings from Brisbane though.

SKD was disgraceful in defence last week.

I don't think so. He dropped off tackles at every attempt. The Warriors targeted him. Even Elliott is smart enough to know SKD can't tackle.
But I am still a fan cause he is so unpredictable in attack. Most of the time he doesn't even seem to know what he is doing!
