The team is building in confidence and trust in one another...each win builds on the other. We get rid of the stupid errors , stop blaming the refs because you can't control the refs( unless we pay them, worked for Qld!! just joking ..)and learn from how melbourne play we'll be there come finals.

I was very proud of the defensive effort the boys put in tonight..

If we can scramble like that every game we play,we will go a long way this year..

Our attack was ordinary,& Pearce's short kicking game is still a major worry,but these are things we can improve on..

2 from 3 with plenty to improve on..Even poor old Mini was mistake free tonight..

So we take the 2 & move on to next week..

Very true, makes more a little more confident things are changing, defense has always been our weak point, do you think they would of held the same nerve if the broncos has scored? that to me is the true indicator

To me the Broncos had every opportunity to score and then some. The result was only 8-0; It's not like we had a lead that was was necessarily defendable most of the game. The situation was as such that we really couldn't afford to have them getting a try so I'd challenge the notion that our defensive steele wasn't well enough tested.

I do acknowledge we've always been quite flighty when things get close and have blown many games that way from recent memory (as we almost did against the Warriors). Certainly we'll have to prove our nerve in that respect, but to be fair to the boys rarely is a team able to hold their opposition to 0. That's a indicator of consistency in effort and a mark of our improved concentration. At this point in the season they were pretty brave in my eyes. Each to their own.

If you look closely at the tackle of SBW on their line, he never lost the ball at all, he purposely rolled it backwards, but our blokes are still not fully aware of his bag of tricks, and weren't awake to it, so a chance went begging.

Actually, if YOU look closely, you'll see Thaiday hitting the ball out.

i love the ref v us call when pearce went high in the tackle (hahahhahahahahahah) and the news boys awarded the penality to the drongos. end first half. what a joke

Man SKD never uses his winger,he needs to get the ball to RTS more..

SKD took the ball to the line on so many occasions to-night as did Toupu to ease the workload of our forwards. With 12 minutes left our team had effected 321 tackles and did'nt see much of the ball in those final minutes.

This was a very good play for us but I was super impressed by Pearce being in the position to allow it to happen.

If all the haters could see all the 1% that he does then maybe they would change their mind a little... That's two weeks in a row that he's came up with a big play that's helped us win the game!

positives:
DEFENCE DEFENCE DEFENCE!
sbw is getting better each week.
our props are finally getting good go forward, even mk wasn't bad off the bench.
mini didn't make a mistake

negatives:
tupou had a shocker
fpn is too inconsistent.
attack lacked cohesion.

its getting to the point (regarding fpn) where he isn't just inconsitant on a week to week basis, he's not becoming inconsistent during the game.
one moment he jogs up to the line, making 6 metres. next moment he sprints the line, bumping off one defender and making 12 metres. few moments after that he loses the ball after taking another soft hit up. I cant stand the guy.
