His short kicking game has never been great. The amount of times both Jimmy and Mitch were rushed on last was a bit worrying.

Some of his clearing kicks tonight though were superb and really got us out of trouble on numerous occasions.

I remember him at the back of 07 & during 08, his short kicks were amongst the best in the NRL. I wish he can get that form back, maybe he has bulked up to much & has lost some of that power & control when it comes to kicking. I highly rate Pearce, faster then most people think & very powerful, it could also be a result of him just doing to much defensive work & by the time attack comes he is a little flat.

That was to me just a simple positioning error. Given the Broncos were rushing up, they needed to stand much deeper to set up for the kick. Easily remedied after the video session I'd imagine.

Only good thing tonight was defence but than again the Broncos attack has been embarrassing, they have fallen behind considerably in the past few years.
