    Are you really that blind?

I don't think it is so much some here like to bag our players but more that we can see a constant failing with some.
Pearce offers a very good package at 7........BUT......his short kicking game is woeful atm.
He will never set the world on fire as a dynamic half......but we knew that.

Just get those grubbers into the in goal area sorted, eh Mitch?
Get this right & watch the points start rolling in.

pearce is the best halfback in the comp. you have no idea coggy.
jt and cronk have nothing on pearce, they are too old and too slow, and to top it all off, pearce is a great bloke.

I don't know, but having snr jnr play there might be an incentive.
you don't have to be a nice bloke to play for the tigers, you just have to be an overrated player.

The same idiots tried to blame Mitchell Pearce for nearly costing us a win despite the fact that this was not the case. There were a lot of positives to come out of last night but the same people from the first 2 matches are talking the same Mitchell Pearce vendetta.

Haven't read all these posts, but Pearce looked dangerous when he ran the ball. His kicks weren't the best but geez the delivery was rubbish.

Pearce actually did look very sharp when running.

He would make a great hooker if his pride would let him.

Relax people! I actually thought pearce was alright tonight, yes his short kicking game is terrible but i thought his running game and long kicking game was great... great win it reminded me alot of the 2002 game against the knights only we won this one, it was character building and showed we've got the right attitude this year...

that actually looks very appealing. his long kicking game would be good out of dummy half. his passing is crisp, he tackles well and he has a good running game. that just means we would need another half...

It was definitely character building...keeping a team to nil does wonders for the confidence of the team...more so than scoring a lot of points...can set a platform for the season.

I'm starting to think mitch needs to move to five eight and not be our attacking kicker in the opp 25 metre zone. He just can't nail it and its crucial to building pressure.

Great defender and runner though...time to use his strengths.

I've thought about this too. My only concern is does he have the work rate? He would have to be an 80 minute hooker and that's a pretty big ask. I don't think he does.

                                Hello All,

Why don't the Roosters use Brad Fittler to help Pearce, Andrew Johns is working with the Manly halves.
                                It couldn't hurt.
