Fair call Henry but you're describing a second rower. All kickers will nail a few decent kicks. That's no great credit.
Pearce always puts in - we know that.
He's a great defender, we know that.
But he has creativity of a well-salted slug and the finesse of a concrete enema.
He plays too stressed, too hyped - like having a tele evangelist wearing number 7.Chrissy Walker should rip out there when we get in their red zone and place a lol@souffs sock gently where the sun don't shine to keep him "measured".
Slow down and he performs better. He's more predictable than a Gillard misogyny attack.
    That made me laugh.

    Very good.

Input is not coaching. And flaws can be rectified and Robbo is the coach to rectify Pearce's imo.

        Chook.

        • Andrew Johns would have a crap attacking game if he were forced to play next to a tard like Anasta for 5 years.

meh... semantics. If you honestly believe Roosters and Blues would invest so much in a halfback without attempting to rectify basic fundamentals...

I hope we don't have the same discussion on his 10 year anniversary.

He played with Mat John's and Sean Rudder.

Even Anasta was better than those 2

the only assistance Robbo can give is to have the attacking line stand deeper which I think we need to do. He can't show Pearce how to kick a ball. It isn't like Robbo would have had much of a short kicking game.

Chook, thanks for asking mate. Little Indi is going really well - she just had her first birthday on 19th March. She is crawling, eating well, no worries with deafness, sight etc. We are very grateful. I should have put up an update ages ago, but we were in off-season so wasn't visiting the page. Thanks again Chook - the well wishes of my Chooks family has been awesome. She will always need medicine and monitoring after her open heart surgery but she is so well. Thanks again Chook (and everyone!). Indiana.jpg Stump.

Comparing a coaches influence during a SOO period to ones influence over a pre-season and 26 weeks of competition is hardly semantics. Pearce has had some decent coaches during SOO and a conga line of farking retards during the other, that's a pretty big difference in any sphere of influence.

We won't be. We'll have won a comp by then or I'll be buried under a mountain of humble pie.

                    Chook.

Mate, that is sooo good to hear
To battle through all the dramas & doing so well at this stage tugs at the heart strings. Our best wishes & prayers have been answered.
I have 5 grandkids of my own, the youngest is a gorgeous 3mth old princess <3 and I can only imagine what you and the family have been through.
Fingers crossed it all keeps going well, mate.

Keep smiling & get the Chooks gear ready for Little Indy to keep the family tradition going.

                      Cheers mate.

That's not the point. Robbo can create the structures and instill the discipline that gives a player like Pearce the time to think and react. Look at Keating at the dogs. A very average player in his own right and one no club would want to exclusively lead a team around the paddock. But given the structure and discipline Hasler has instilled at the dogs makes him appear to have the time and finnesse expected from a halfback.

                        Chook.

Bit rich coming from you Ray!!
While I don't agree with you about Pearce I love reading your rants on the bloke especially the one about Pearcy pass to mini which led to johnsons try. I can really see how that was Pearce's fault, I mean how dare he pass the ball to someone right in the bread basket, what was he thinking?
