How the bloody hell can you give it to JWH hes developing nicely and plays with passion and aggression every week just wish we had another 16 of him,hes going to become one of the best front rowers in the comp we keep forgetting hes still only 24 which is relatively young for a prop.
Last year JWH showed glimpses of what could be but lacked consistency.
Different Coach & attitude all around him has seen this getting better with every match.
Way to go big fella
I strongly disagree. jWH was very consistent all of last year and was our best in 2012 by a country mile.
JWH does give away penalties, yes, that is a thing that needs to be worked on.........
There have been alot of players who have shown "Commitment" and have played "100% for the team" that have come through the doors at the Roosters through out the years.... but they haven't brought anything but commitment.
JWH on the other had, he shows commitment, he gives more than 100% and does it while benefiting the team in a positive way both on and off the field.......
A few penalties should not be a blight on the future Roosters Captain !

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

Compare his stats from last year to other leading props and he fell short. And to say that he was our best by a country mile is more of a reflection on just how bad the rest of the team was, don't you think?

Stats do not tell the whole story however 56. Far too many supporters use stats as the base of their argument. He was by far our best last year based on consistency. He turned up and did what he had to do, and that was lead our pack.
That being said, his ability to give away a penalty is bloody frustrating and our fan base on here get the sh___its with Friend for the same thing (though overlook JWH because he's the closest thing to Moz that we've had since, well, the big pom himself). I cannot disagree with "Stacey" on this one. Great thread!!!

Backwards has always been full of it.
Jumping into the sewer with him?
I don't mind if jwh gives a few penalties away, he gives 110% each week, I love the bloke.
I do mind if players like fpn give a few penalties away, because he doesn't give it his all week in week out.
We don't any players just giving away penalties. They are crucial in today's game.
