I cannot disagree with "Stacey" on this one. Great thread!!!
And that's the point I was trying to get across, thanks maaaaaaaaaaate.

I love JWH as I stated. I also agree with a lot of you he looks like a future captain like Toolis, Crock or Mozz style, refs secretly love the bad boy and would much rather work with them than against. IMO still pRickys biggest error, not appointing Mozz captain post Freddy.

But this isn't the real point. The FACT remains JWH gives away the MOST penalties in the whole comp. And the FACT is more tries are scored on the back of penalties than any other way, in the modern game.

People criticize Friendly, Mini, PearceOrf, Maubs, SKiD etc all the time for less often. But the fans FAVS always get the free ride. Youse have to look at yourselves at times. Look at your posts. Go on.

And the NKOTB get a sweeter ride. Jenko has bombed more than he's set up as yet and Baloney is truly no better than PearceOrf is. But they are new and shiney and don't carry the fans baggage as yet.

Yes some of you realize I'm having a fish. Guilty. But I reckon I'm right and some of you need to be even with your criticism.

There is a lot of the criticize some but not others mentality here. The FAVES can do no wrong. There is nothing wrong with criticism where it's due. There is something wrong when some get blamed while others get away with the same shit cos they smile at the ladies.

Thats my fun for the day.

    Carry on biarches.

    GO EASTS.

I farking loved that game, I love defence like that, I still have a stiffy and haven't been near the Viagra.

I have serious (non homo) man love for JWH, if everyone in our team showed the same level of commitment and desire we would be world beaters (I think we are heading in the right direction).

Jared does give some dumb penalties away, but like the great man Moz is also unfairly targeted by the refs. How many times do you hear them yell "Jared, Jared" as soon as he makes contact, while players like Cameron Smith can fall asleep on top of the tackled player and not get penalised.

Against the Broncos he was penalised on the 5th tackle for placing his hands on the ball as the tackled player was getting up to the play the ball, which wasn't great as the refs have been heavily targeting this area. But a few minutes later a Broncos player does the same thing, and yet all we hear is the refs say "......get your hands of the ball" but there is no penalties.

All I want is consistency from the refs.

Would love all coaches fine their players who do this on a regular basis. Just plain dumb with a 1 in 100 chance of achieving anything positive. It more times than not results in a penalty for the ball player.
But yeah, more consistency from the refs would be refreshing.

We can't worry about the reffs being consistent.

            We can't control them.

I hate the Jake and Jarrod calls too but reffs are only human and captain obvious can see we lack(ed) discipline. Reffs are coached to spot repeat offenders as players are coached to spot weaker players in the opposition.

What we can control is our discipline.

NEVER touch the ball again while making a tackle and especially while getting off the ground.

It's time for fines IMO for our players who continually offend. I'm sure one of the commentators said that the other night. Even they are beginning to notice our poor discipline.

It has improved though and I expect it to continue in that fashion.

IMO the difference in Mozz, who could attract a penalty or 3, is he wasn't as ill disciplined in the basics. He just got lazy with that arm often. Gus always says how they used to hammer it into him, arm down.

I'd much rather us penalized for the odd stiff arm than for farking hand on the ball shit.
