  • To those worried about our point scoring

Last night SBW dropped the ball an inch from the line, SKD put the ball down with the line open and Jennings couldn't find Tupou after a clean break.

We manufactured those chances and if we finish them all of a sudden it's 26-0.

We are creating chances but just not finishing them all yet which we will.

Defense is rock solid and attack is almost there. We have a hell of a season coming up boys and girls!

you are right about that dimorphic. we could of put another 30 on them if it was round 6. In another 3 weeks the attack will be on fire.

Hopefully it all clicks just in time for the Bulldogs clash, I really really really want to beat them!

I still think SKD is a liability and the Broncos offered nothing.

offered nothing? they were almost lietrally camped on our line for the second half, they threw ALL they had at us and we kept them out.

I'm not worried about our point scoring but our structure still needs work.

Too many times Friend and Mini are just taking off for blind side plays which never lead to anything.

They have to get that type of ad lib rubbish out of our game.

For once we have some strike out wide we just have to keep it simple and get the ball to them in good positions and then the points will flow.

I thought it was skd's best game of the year, 4 tackle bust, ran for nearly 100 metres and made a heap of tackles, I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to hear that old chestnut, it's either Pearce, skd, fpn, or mini who nearly cost us the game.

Like the blindside play in the 1st half where Friend took off and gave it to Jennings who made a break I want that type of rubbis taken out of our game as well I dont like to see us make breaks exploiting the short side

Nah Andrew that was a good one because like I said he passed it to one of our good players (Jennings). It was also off the back of a run from one of our other good players (SBW).

It wasn't just a bloke running down the blind side for the sake of it (Mini) which will never ever ever lead to a break.

                  Can you see the difference?

Fitzy this is where you fail to see the whole picture of a game. I actually think Some of Minis runs down the blindside you are talking about are ones coming out of our own half where its more a metre eater thing to take heat off the forwards by going down the short side rather than up the middle where the defence is waiting to move up quick and belt the opposition stifling the metres gained If something happens to come of it all good and well if not we make some yards making the opposition defence waste their time by moving up quick in the middle for no reason It is good to keep defence thinking even coming out of your own half

Maybe some of them but they all weren't in our end. It also hurts our set of six especially when you consider which players are on the other side of the field.

We just need simple structure which can get the ball to our good players.

I'm telling you in the next month SBW and Jennings will put 40 points on someone.

Most of Minis forays from dummy half are from inside our own half Friend is the chief culprit on this when we are on the attack To be honest we really didnt see much ball in there half all game last night

Simple structure is a coaching issue and one that will take some time when you consider the two players whom are our most potent have only been at the club for two months On that front this leaves us a little behind the eight ball which isnt a bad thing when you consider it is a long comp

At this stage of the year I am just happy to see us grind out the two points Knowing there is improvement

That's not really Friend's fault is it though?

Another thing that concerns me about Mini and maybe I'm being a touch over-critical but why does he not follow Jennings. The bloke has made 5 linebreaks in 3 games, you think he would have caught on by now. Support Jennings on the inside and you're bound to get a few tries.

The stuff out of dummy half isn't what I'm worried about. It's when he stands at first receiver and calls it down the blind.

That's not Mini's go. Like 6 said above he should be playing a support role up the middle, there are plenty of good player to follow this year.

Anyway like I said in the other thread we play with that passion and effort we will win plenty of games this year.
