    Been around for a while and given that there are so many "quality" experts here, its time to be honest and let everyone know why you didn't play first grade.

    I was too fast between the ears, but too slow on my pins.

    Plus I was drenched in peptides.

      I was too busy busting all kinds of nuts into all kinds of smoo. Now that I look back, I reckon I made the smart choice joining the expert G-Mafia.

                i still play union , now golden oldies, i manage/mentor a district club side in fact our golden oldies played a trial against the grade side last tuesday night, yes im still sore and its on again next tuesday, those young props hit very hard! for some reason they all want to crunch me? as i always gert up and take the next hit up ive got some cred with the youngt guys, im now 61!

                    I played for Waverley in the oldies for a few seasons.

                          YES THANKS SPANNER! must admit i looked reasonable last tuesday running at the under 20s players rather than the grade guys, our 20s dont tackle either, i think it must be an age thing? been a long time since shobs, used to love playing against you violet crumble bars! ALWAYS HARD GAMES no quarter asked or given! we are due for an ale mate!
                          WAVERLY WERE A VERY HARD CLUB TO BEAT VERY HARD PLAYERS, WELL DRILLED with a passion for easts, what more could one ask?

                              I played from 1976 when i was 7 yrs old with seagulls(tweed). Met brassy. Played with billy dunn, steve edmed and micheal searl(as his dad tom was a legend}. Played til i was 19.

                              Undefeated bolster shield for 4 years, mET carlton draughts, tits n pussy,

                              but now i am a retired ref, a 7 year coach , committee member of nerang roosters . Love the game and some times toooo proud. If you saw me at the titts in 2012..can be loud sobour
