I would rather he gets a penalty of a match payment than having a week off from playing. how does giving him a week off penalise him?

Neither do I, it was more directed at all the users on here who are overhyping him without him even playing a first grade game.

Kennedy was overhyped, he's an average first grade front rower.

          Frank Paul the "wrecking ball"

Anthony Cherrington, the devastating replacement for Anthony Tupou.

          Ryan Williamson, where's he now?

          Danny Williams.

I hope that Kane Evans isn't another one of these but there's nothing to suggest otherwise.

Because if Evans plays well LOD could be playing out of Hensen Park for a while.

You are a complete muppet. Evans was a standout in NYC and killed it playing for the NSW under 20's origin team. The others didn't show anywhere near as much as Evans did at that level.

The hype surrounding Kane is well deserved. It's those who believe this will translate into immediate success and set unreasonable expectations on a kid that don't have a clue.

A fine is a slap over the wrist for these guys who are already very well paid. Ask any professional sportsman and they'll tell you they'd rather play and cop a fine than visa-versa.

This is an experienced player who has represented his country, not some wet behind the ears young gun who mucked up during schoolies week. We shed 3 players to accommodate this person, to bring maturity and toughness to our side apparently...Congratulations to the coach for establishing boundaries and setting an example. It shows Trent takes his role seriously and won't have the wool pulled over his eyes or be manipulated by others. Fine qualities in a man I must say..very admirable..having a serious crush on the coach now...

Yes RWB, IF he has integrity, after seeing those posts by that ass at the raiders it will take me a while to believe majority of players have that.

i just think dropping him from all grades gives hime a week off which at his age he will appreciate, i also think it would of gone along way to keep his match fitness up by playing for the blue bags. e

he came back from england due to the higher tac rate affecting his earnings, i think a 10k match payment and playing reserves would teach him more.

                              Interesting.

                              Well from the player profiles pages the only players that are contracted with a first grade contract that hasn't played this weekend so far and not named are;

                              Kane Evans (named 18th man)
                              Samisoni Langi
                              Dylan Napa
                              Brandon Tago
                              Henare Wells

It won't be we Wells, Langi isn't a prop so I don't expect it to be him either.

That leaves Tago and Napa, one has been in NYC and the other hasn't played a match for 3 weeks due to being 18th man for Firsts and rumoured to have been dropped for a week.

Who on earth is it if it isn't Kane, Bronte?

It's not one of those guys mentioned above.

He's a front rower, a bit out of left field, and was probably the form prop in the trials.

But don't take my word for it, i've already been blatantly wrong on here this year, claiming that Sonny was going to be playing on the right edge, and of course he's on the left.

Kane is in the mix though, they're just slightly concerned with his defence at this stage.
