Looked good. Took the line on a number of times; supported well; defended superbly. Did anyone record that backline play to give RTS his hat-trick... woop woop.

Really? I don't want to be negative after such a great night, but I still found Pearce hard to find out there in Maloney's shadow.

I've been a critic of Pearce recently but I thought that today he was extraordinary, especially when he took on the line. I think this game he finally gelled with Maloney and they created some breaks on Jennings's side of the field.
                        Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Look Pearce played good, the whole bloody team played good, even Mini played well.

However Pearce as a halfback is not paid for his defence.

His early kicks were poo poo until the kick for sheck.

I liked how he took the line on and i liked how he did not overplay and panic with ball in hand.

Maloney is a class above Pearce and may find himself in a blues jersey with games like that.
