I really wish he stayed fully committed to the chooks. But it seems like the union world cup will pull him away from the nrl

I think he will stay, the money is RL now and with the marquee player allowance at 500k there will be a line up for him.

The Chiefs did make an offer but the NZRU would not make an offer which has been puzzling me for a while as to why they did not make an effort to resign him.

I think you will find is that his agent actually contacted Nick P as I really didn't think Nick would think that he would not stick to his handshake agreement.

I think the term was that if Rugby was not going to be your future (in which I think it really was) then guarantee I will find a spot for you by the time your suspension from RL is lifted after 5 years. That deal was made in 2011, as NZRU will not allow him to continue Boxing whilst contracted to the All Blacks.

The boxing could be the reason why they did not rush to sign him up cause look at him now, no one can get past him in defence at all.

May get one more year. Will def be gone for 2015 for the RU WC then 2016 for the 7s team for the Olympics. After that probably pro boxing.

If he wins a gold medal at the Olympics, a WC in RL to go with his WC from RU and IBF heavy weight world championship would he be considered as one of the greatest athletes of all time???

why would the nz yawnion want him back after he turned his back on them. i dont follow the game but is there anyone else in the game playing in his position capable of keeping him out of the position. i we get the 2013 gf and the 2014 gf would he stay... we keep the one year deals rolling, let him box, do a half of the pre season. works for me
