Not sure, but seemingly the investigators didn't think there was enough evidence

How are those questions dealt with in the report?

What happend to Brian waldron why was he not prosecuted why did news let him walk away?
I'd love to know what happened to Waldron.

Was he given cash to go and hide for a while?

      It's a mystery.

The full report is on the NRL site, and shows conclusively that O'Sullivan is a crook

I'd suggest reading it before you blindly defend him
how objective is the report when it comes to News, the directors of the club and what they new.....not much is my opinion

I remember the Storm Salary cap scandal in bits and pieces. I have two questions :

Firstly is there any actual evidence to even remotely suggest or prove that POS has partaken in any illegal activity within this scandal?

Secondly if there is no such evidence, then legally, can someone through any medium be harassed or constantly accused of partaking in something illegal if there is in fact no evidence to suggest so ?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the articles/comments within the last few days have not actually been giving an opinion of a player/club/manager but instead have been a direct implication that somone has unlawfully partaken in questionable dealings.

I love the roosters to death, but this has nothing to do with the club I follow. If in fact there is no evidence of wrong doing, then I really feel sorry for POS, not because he works for the club that I follow, but because his name has been dragged through the mud in the drama from 3 years ago.

sometimes murderers get off because there just isn't enough evidence

            have you read the report?
Of course I haven't read the report, I don't have to. The "report" was always going to get the result it wanted.

I think you would agree on these facts

Some players signed more than one contract

The contracts had different amounts on them

The players knew what they were earning.

That is surely enough evidence to show the players did something wrong.

Look I really don't care how it played out, I'm happy for the players and coach to "get off". I just get sick of reading how a few blokes are held responsible, mainly POS.

don't agree with that at all. No idea how you can even say that if you haven't read it

One of the reasons the players couldn't be pinned was because, predictably, the claimed they believed the additional payments were legitimate 3rd party payments, and/or they didn't understand any of it and just trusted their managers

Anyway, I think you'd have a different perspective if you read it

Mate I'm sure that it looks good on paper but be serious, if an individual signs something they are responsible.

I'm sure the players and managers concocted a nice story to save each other but it's all bullshit.

The managers were doing their jobs and so were the players. The players were never going to take the fall and the managers got a slap over the wrists.

Serious question. How many players are still with their managers? I think Inglis and Smith are. See I would think if a manager mislead these poor innocent players they would of split. Seems odd doesn't it?

I totally agree with you here Fitzy. The only reason Rothfield is going after POS is because POS is the only one at the Roosters. Anyone that thinks that a talent scout is more responsible for a salary cap rort than the coach or CEO is a fool. Bellamy and the big three are the ones who have the case to answer. I'll be honest guys, I expected this from Rothfield as soon as it became clear that the Roosters were in for a big year. Rothfield has been talking up the Sharks, but the reality is they bought a bunch of players that couldn't win a game without Benji, and they may struggle to make the eight. Their coach hates us too. He has a BIG mouth and he can expect a BIG showing from the Chooks when we play them.

If the answer to that question is News Limited, everything sort of falls into place.

I dont think they allow gossip columns in Nth Korea. They are ok with the phone-hacking though.

Pity the phone lines are very unreliable?
Might take awhile to get through.
