  • Roosters vs Raiders Match Day Thread

We're looking for four wins in a row, which hasn't happened since 2010 if memory serves me correctly.
It's always tough playing Canberra in Canberra, and the fact that we play at night makes it even harder.
We've had a good record against them of late, however they are usually hard fought matches.
Those expecting another something to nil scoreline are sorely mistaken. It wont happen again.
Expect a big match from Mitchell Pearce and SKD.
    Go Easts.

u 20's should be a good game to, hopefully they aren't required to win in the last 2 minutes like they have for all 3 of their wins.

We actually won the last 4 in 2011 where we smashed storm 40-4 in rd 26.

          I'll be there... can't wait!

Personally haven't been this excited about a Roosters game (outside the finals in 2010) for ages! 4 In a row would mean a LOT to me. I hope we are the real deal this season... all the right vibes are there.

Stunning day down here if anyone in Sydney is undecided about coming still.

Any late changes to the side?

You would be surprised at how many Chook supporters there are down here. Canberra has quite a transient population, due in part to the large number of Defence personel and large Federal Government Departments. I will be at the game.

We always get good Roosters numbers down here.

I would say outside the Dragons, the Roosters bring more fans to Canberra than any other team.

Sunday footy show reported that LOD is playing of the bench today. Guess that means Liu has been omitted?

just had a look at the weather in Canberra on google.
it said there was supposed to be a chance of rain, however GOF said it had been a beautiful day so far.
in terms of temperature, it drops from a lovely 21 degrees at 4pm to a nippy 14 degrees by 7pm.
A good test to see how we perform in Canberra conditions.

I think Guerra would drop off the bench.

Looks like being 18-20 degrees, clear skies for kick-off. Should be perfect for footy.
