always was a danger game for us.2 big efforts the last two games then away in canberra with a short turn around yet discipline and mistakes cost us. to lead 16 nil and to be beaten in the last few minutes so frustrating.a game we should have won. kennedy and skd penalties/ mistakes lead to tries. skd is getting closer to wearing the newtown jersey.he is a shadow of himself and no longer a game breaker.

Kennedy's usual pot plant penalty late in the second half, where they scored early on in their set, from the penalty, was the turning point of the game, but we were terrible , Canberra's whole backline aren't old enough to shave yet, and they played our blokes off a break. I hope you lot are now fully aware that SKD is a total waste of space out there, him, FPN,Arona, and maybe a couple of others need the For Sale sign hung off them, to free up enough money for Israel Folau. This was the second time we met a side with big aggressive frontrowers, and they towelled us up, we had more leaks then the Titanic happening , during the game.

Maloney chosing to grubber for himself after that massive right hand side break was 10 times worse than the penalty, or Mini dropping the ball, or what ever other one individual people want to blame on here. Robinson picks up that grubber and makes it out to the 30m line and they rolled us the length of the field.

They were getting quick play the balls away and making massive metres all night. Don't worry that it was nil at half time because they were doing it in the first half too, we were just good enough to hold them off the line and they dropped the pill a few times.

WHY wasn't the try disallowed?


Cordner should be dropped until he learns not to drop the ball when running it out from our end.
He did it twice last week, and at the start of the game tonite.

Ditto O'Donnell, he did it twice tonite.

It's not good enough.

Get them some gloves or something.

Where was our winger when that last Raiders try was scored?

it certainly wasn't cordners fault. that knock on didn't lead to anything and he wasn't on the field for the rest of the game.
its the same people each time. people come on here and throw out the line 'oh here comes the mini/skd/fpn bashing'.
that's because it happens each time. mini's drop ball led to a momentum shift. skd had the chance to keep our head above water in attack and defence, but he couldn't in either. fpn was simply replaced by lod this week. ineffective in attack, makes stupid errors and gives away stupid penalties.

Raiders played the perfect half in the 2nd half no errors, kick play the balls and their forwards dominated. It's a worrying sign that twice we have let a 16-0 lead slip.

I agree SKD needs some time in Newtown he is just a dumb footballer.

The only positive is we gained a position on the ladder while losing from 6th to 5th
