I remember leaving the ground after our semi win over North Qld to make the GF in 2004.

Waiting for us outside the ground were a pack of Dogs fans.

That's the most worried I've been at a game of footy.

That includes Redfern Oval in the 80s.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Dogs fans are a disgrace and anyone that has attended their games would know it isn't the minority Greenberg and the media would have you believe.

        They have a pack mentality.

Very tough when there's 2 of you and 38 of them.

Tear pages out of the Koran and sticky tape them to youself, it'll be like you're Koranman with a suit of armour.

        Chook.

I am all for freedom of speech It is why I questioned the motives That is me expressing my voice with freedom It works both ways

You sounds very excited about the upcoming election and why not the Liberals will not only win But I am predicting a record margin

On another note If I am forced to endure Katy Perry and Firework one mroe time today I think I am going to explode

Is Red a reference to the communist party or Gillard ?

While they have a bad reputation, I can honestly say i've never had any issues with Dogs fans - and that includes sitting amongst them for Mason v the Dogs at Homebush when my tickets turned out to be rubbish.

I was also there in 04 and saw what happened, but for me that's been a pretty isolated incident.

Not saying they don't have their share of dickheads - but so do most clubs. I reckon Newcastle is the place where you're likely to get a slap if you step out of line.

Not been to Auckland, but there are a few lively looking characters there when the camera scans the crowd......that could easily be a place where you might come unstuck.

Rolling on the floor in stitches. **** you crack me up Chook.
Thank **** some people have a sense of humour on here because it would be as boring as hell otherwise

Was with my best mate at that game and he's a filthy dogs supporter. Both kitted up in respective colours, after the game on the walk back to the station HE was harassed by fellow dogs supporters for being with me. 10 pre pubescent rat tailed bum bag wearing heroes thought they would rough us up. After a bit of push and shove and a few knuckles thrown, 3 big fobs in there chooks jerseys decided to join the party. Well I have never seen a group of tough guys run so fast in my life.
Have seen the big fobs at a few games over the years and always have a chat over a few beers about that game with them

Not just English. My boss is Croatian and a few weeks ago they had there WC qualifiers, they played Serbia in Croatia. Only people allowed into the game were Croations. Home fans only. The same applies in Serbia. How ****ed is that. There is nothing better then a bit of playfull banter between rival supporters I rekon

Minority doesn't even begin to describe it mate.

Many of these people are 1st or 2nd gen migrants, who have come from broken down countries, from the poorest parts of these broken down countries and tough lifestyles which has made them into what they are today. In essence they feel like they have nothing to loose mainly because they don't and assault charges these days don't even get a slap on the wrist in Australia, where as in their previous country an assault charge would see them locked up in a dark 1 metre cubic prison cell where their lunch is one apple split between 6 people.

I worked in dubai for three years and when I was there I learnt that the tiniest indiscretion such as throwing a icecream wrapper on a footpath, would see you get kicked out of the country within 24 hours. They're on one end of the scale and here in Australia we're on the other. Somewhere in between would be nice.

I'm actually suprised that there hasn't been a number of fights breakout between the boggs fans and the seven fingered vermin fans over the years tbh. Both fan bases look quite similar. Then again both have nothing to loose, so that would be a fair fight, and they would want that would they

No Greenturd bought it up, the media picked that up and ran with it.

It's being spoken about cos it's an obvious issue.

I don't dig the issue you have here Shandy???

You're making less sense than usual.
