Tactics, not players!!!! Quit fiddling with the team.

      Defence:
      - Solid grapple tackles.
      - Isolate attackers and drag them backwards.
      - Go for the player, not the ball.

      Attack:
      - Go down quickly once hit + lie on the ball so that it's safe.
      - Quit the sloppy offloads, only pass if there's lots of space.
      - Be more flat, these days you don't pass the ball back a mile in order to make space, you pass it flat pretty well, and just keep marching forward.

Exactly. He will not change the team IMO. He will bring structure into the club that we've been needing for a while now. I'm not sure what structure he will bring but I'd have to assume that he'd bring with him what he done in Newcastle, a wide-running gameplan.

What ? no Anasta? he is our best player by far

Thats right he is a ful;lbak, mini was terrible today, he needs to play wing, big heart but a rag doll, Towers must be given a shot at fullback, was a standout agin in the 20s(another heartless mob), pez onto the other wing

Did anybody think Sam Perrett went well at centre. I thought he was magnificent. He gets through a mountain of work and it doesn't matter what position he plays in.

And as I've stated on another thread, Towers or Moeakiola should have taken SKD's spot. SKD is beyond help IMO.

Create a tackle structure, we currently don't have one, we are generally (other than Nate and Jake) windmill grabbers, no one goes for their legs and so they keep marching downfield.

Get our players fit, then create some leg drive and leg speed.

We can't really hope for any more with this rabble.

I think there will be a few rocky months ahead rusty.

i know that the current coaching staff have no idea whats happening with their jobs, people like lammy and Scott Murray have no idea what their positions will be or even if they will be at the roosters in any form next season.

There was speculation that there would not be a player clean out....but i have this feeling that Brian smiths red pen will go though a few names for next season.

I thought Lammy was taking up a position in England... Murray has to go too.. The NYC side is no better under him than Lam.

Smith should wield the axe.. There is too many players just there to pick up a pay cheque.. Hello Willie..
