I was critical of Jake's performances in the past, but this year, he has really stepped up and taken his game to another level !

His service is crisp, his dummy half running is fantastic and he now has a quality kicking game !

He has now become the Hooker we needed for a long time at the Roosters !

Yes he was looking like he was going to be just a solid Rake but he has transformed into something very good, i like the 2nd phase runs he.s doing off our forwards.

Where do I apply for president, secretary and treasure of this association? He has showed great resilience, developed maturity, learnt from his mistakes and has willingly paid for them (mistakes). In my opinion he was always going to be this good in the improved environment.

All our forwards have been great, but I reckon Jakey should've got MOM on maybe close to a half of our wins..
Smith maybe the number 1 hooker, but Friend with his kicking game, newly developed offloads in attack, and defensive work would put him as one of the top 3 hookers out there imo..I wouldn't swap him

Hes turning out to be a far better player than i thought he would.His game has improved out of sight and he is putting himself right in the picture to take over from Cam Smith.

His progression this season has been nothing short of remarkable.

He's gone from being frustrating with a tendency to take the wrong option to a truly lethal number 9. His passing is the best in the comp IMO; he now doesn't overplay his hand and instead strikes when the opposition is least prepared, and his running from DH is outstanding.

That try vs Manly from phenomenal and not even Smith could have done that. It was Craig Wing like!

And to top it off he'd be close to the best defender in the comp.

Surely our best player so far this season. Just ahead of SBW, JWH and Cords.

i felt jake was right up trhere with possible honours after last nights game, very unlucky not to have 3 tries toi his name which would habe brought us up over 50 to nil!

I'd say having James Maloney near him instead of Braith has helped his game immensely.
