Jake was my Man of the Match tonight..

He showed the kind of game i'd been expecting from him for 18 months..

He is starting to show some real footy smarts..

I reckon even Coggy would have to agree that he was outstanding tonight..

Glad you mentioned Moa. What a quiet achiever he has been. So reliable. We are down on props and i am sure his work is not nearly appreciated as it should be.

Jake sure has cultivated some new moves under Coach Robbo..and so has Dan Morts..Rabs was just praising him and then he scores. Agree with Gary Worthless' comments about Moa as well. I was thinking like everyone else about who he was and where he was from but then I guess if Fitzy has recommended him, he would have the goods. Fitzy should become our talent scout in years to come.

Friend is much like Pearce. For me the talent has never been in question it's just a matter of taking the right options and being cool under pressure.

His interchanges with Morts were seamless..

He is making massive leaps each week..

Jake still seems to hve that two- three passes where he put pressure on the reciever and then end up spilling the ball

I have been very critical of Friend for years. But I must say he has been very impressive this season. He is making quick and early decisions in attack. The fact he is only playing 50-60 minutes is certainly assisting with his attack. The hooker rotation has been very good. We don't miss a beat when they interchange

I agree. 80 minutes is too much when you add his defensive workload.

imo that would be a bit too much for morts. for someone his size, he tackles his guts out, and is still able to provide spark in attack.
any longer and he'll start falling off tackles. I think robbo has it spot on.
