The teams improved in its coaching, its structures, it's defence and it has better players included than previous seasons. Oh and some deadwood has been cut adrift.

Therefore individuals have improved of course.

Form is temporary and can be elusive but ability is something you don't see just disappear and reappear.

And experience is something that can only come with experience.

BumJack was the worst player on the field IMO.

Rushed everything and when SKiD ripped his jumper I knew he was in for a sore rear.

Jake is on fire!
He looks fitter and he doesn't have to play the full 80 this year. This has really helped him to unleash his attacking game. It also helps that our forwards are making big metres this year too.

Not particularly, but boy oh boy if Stalin knew how to pass a ball backwards we would have been in the shit, he was getting on the outside of SKD pretty much every time they spread it that way.

Yeh it's a bit of a cop out, he's just finally getting to play behind a dominant forward pack. It's our forward pack that is most improved.

I disagree about him always being good with the forward pack now allowing him to show what he's capable of.

Prior to this season jake was the most frustrating Rooster over a number of years. He would show glimpses of class only to consistently stuff up, give away silly penalties, and go the mother****ing blind side every second play!

He's now all about quality, not quantity. His improvement this year has been amazing. Every touch has a bit of class about it now. There's no more head-banging moments of frustration in his game.

At the start of the year who would have traded him for Isaac Luke? Surely every Roosters fan alive. But now, I wouldn't trade Friendy for Luke in a million years. He's a far more complete hooker imo.
