Whilst I think Mini is not the player he used to be Im going to back him here. I think he has been pretty good. Sure he has made a couple of errors but he has been pretty safe at the back for us. I also think we do need a few old heads in the team especially one that bleeds our colours. Also, I just dont know if RTS is ready for fullback just yet and I think this is Robbos thoughts as well. I think wing is a better position for him to be getting started and the switch will come. Remember Slater, Boyd etc played a fair bit of wing before switching to fullback so it isnt a new strategy.

Giving the opposition a FULL set on our line, lucky for Mini his incompetence was covered up by a combination of some good defence and lacklustre attack. And how can we forget the pass he threw to Tupou...
Big games/finals are more often than not decided on individual errors rather than individual brilliance. The key is to limit these errors, especially such crucial ones. The scoreline is brilliant but I'd be disappointed if our coach was a content as you with the performance.

I still don't see how mini's drop from last week changed momentum, Canberra already had the momentum in that first 10min of the second half. The TEAM didn't react well enough to it and got complacent. This week he drops a kick and we knuckled down and showed a bit of back bone in defence and we forced an error. Lesson learnt I say

Anyone who thinks RTS will be at fullback this year -- Mini being injured, excluding -- is deranged.
Minichiello's having a great season. I can't see a problem. They all drop them every now and then. That's just the nature of the game. As for saying he's "heart in mouth material", well, so was Fairfax, so was Andrew Walker. Slater comes up with some clangers, too. So does Bowen. They all do.

He's a Dragons fan and is mystified by the heavy criticism towards the likes of Braith and Mini over the years. I had no answer for him..to quote George Costanza, I'm speechless, I am without speech.....

It's about how they as a team react to an error and last week they dropped there heads, this week they stayed composed. You may not see it but I bet Robbo and the coaching staff are just as pleased about that defensive set of six after the error then any throughout the match.
It's not about the errors it's about how you react to them and we learnt something from last week

However this doesn't dismiss the fact that Mini has made some absolute rookie errors in the first 6 rounds and adds nearly nothing in attack.
Truth is the perception we're willing to confront, what you look at and what you see can be two different things. Unfortunately far too many people are letting their emotions get in the way of the reality that Mini is well past it and has been for some time now.
