a little bit suspicious about this withdrawal, wouldn't surprise if he didn't play because he didn't want to face the heat if he decided to leave the NRL at the end of the season.

if its legit hope he is fit and firing for Anzac day.

Everything I have heard him say would suggest its enough to rule him out of a test match. I don't think anything shifty is going on

Is this where we contemplate how the team would go without him?

the guys on the sunday roast were making a big song and dance about SBW only playing 1 season in the NRL before heading back to union, if this was the case it wouldn't surprise in SBW's twisted logic he feels he shouldn't play for the Kiwi's if he is not hanging around the NRL next season.

sbws intentions for next season are known only to him, doesnt matter how much thery speculate on the roast! if he continues to enjoy himself as he has thusfar he may decide to stay another year, a bit i think depends on weyjer we win it all this season?if we do i think hell go back to union, if we dont he may want to finish his mission here?whatever his choice im sure well find the money for him somewhere? ha ha

Benny Elias' comment .... well if there's one person in the NRL who can get SBW to stay, it's Nick Politis !

I hope SBW has the decency to let the club fairly early what his intentions for 2014 are, would be nothing worse than having $500k spare salary cap room and no one left to spend it on.

I am as well, I wouldent be surprised if we are doing a Manly at origin time type move, I am happy he is not playing the test, would rather him have a rest & be fit for us.

I been thinking about that to Jack. But to be honest, if I had to choose between having SBW in the team , or Maloney, I would take James Maloney. As great as sonny is, I don't think we can replace Maloney. He is so valuable to our chances this year. I don't think SBW will be here next year anyway.

Today they also alluded to the fact that due to the NZ rugby hierachy being at his final rugby presser, they believe he did a deal with them to return next year to have a year under him prior to the WC.

Whats mini on ? If SBW goes next year & mini retires, we would have around 850k to spend, we can buy anyone
