  • Our best buy!!!!!

Having a few with a mate after we schooled the dogs Friday night and he asked me who I thought was our best buy??!!! (this year)

And I said...........No. 1, Mr Robinson. breath of fresh air. He has told the players to pull their heads in and stop pretending.

No. 2, Sam Moa. Without Sam, Sonny would have to play a lot tighter. He has been awesome.

Then Sonny and Maloney. Braith is a great bloke but watching James just makes me realise what BA lacked. GO THE MIGHTY ROOSTERS!!!!!!

IMO maloney first then robbo. Or maloney gets the #2 over moa . All the buys have been awesome, with lod maybe havent found some form yet but imo maloney has been the best buy, his taken so much off pearcey and his already leading the point scorers at 58 with lyon at #2 at 42. So yeah mate i think it goes 1. Maloney then robbo but thats my opinion.

        Completely agree with this.

Accept the statement about Braith. He is not a great bloke. He's a BIG FAT PHONY

Without the Oldfield signing Robinson SBW Maloney & Jennings would all be struggling.

Mose has been a huge loss the Windsor Wolves are killing it.

Nah he's a lovely bloke or a top bloke. We should have kept Braith then we would be in 1st place.

SBW for mine. I think the off field SBW is bringing as much to the Roosters as the on field SBW.

He may not be our best buy, I dont know how much he is contributing but the way we are going has Brian Canavan written all over it.

                  I would say:
                  1. Trent ronibson - the boys finally look like they know what they are supposed to be doing and have a lot more belief in the structure.
                  2. Maloney - he has taken so much pressure off Mitch, great support player, goal kicker and hole runner.
                  3. Sonny - have been surprised by his defensive work ethic and he is a much needed creative spark when we are deep in the oppositions territory.
                  4. Moa / jennings - cant split these two. I think they have both been great in their respective positions.

                    5. The new ball boys. They have been giving crisp fast balls to Jake for the tap restart.

                      1. Trent
                      2. Maloney
                      3. SBW
                      4. Jennings
                      5. Moa

LOD is a liability in my eyes at the moment..

i just love going to the footy and knowing were going to be in it whoever we play! post match consideration must be given to moving the players reception back upstairs, just too crowded and uncomfortable in the legends bar, might even be an unsafe hazard with that crowd?

Definitely SBW. The professionalism he brings to our club is rubbing off on all the young players. He is in effect changing the culture of our club with his presence, obviously the coach has an input there, but I think Sonny is making his job much easier. Everything I read about him from a players perspective mentiones what a humble, yet inspiring guy he is. I think we will feel his presence for many years after he leaves

Craig walker from the Warriors brings alot of experience when someone is hurt......but he would be so much betterr though if he had 50/20 Ronnie Palmer as his partner???

                              Hard to say.

SBW gives me the confidence we can compete with the best sides in the comp.

Robinson gives me the confidence of a bright future.

At the moment Id have to say Sonny, Robbo still has a lot to prove. Firstly that this isn't just a honeymoon period. Both his predecessors (Freddy and Smith) had exceptional first years at the club.
