Myles had a shit game yesterday and told me he felt like crap when we lost.

Backwards you must have an innie with Riley leaving.

he may be a good bloke but it doesnt seem to mean your a good player, after this season i am so over the "hes a nice guy" theory!!!!

Riley was never going to be kept on once Smith was in charge, he punted him from the Knights during his clean out there.

I'm glad that he appears to have found a new club, he's had a wretched season with that arm injury.

I will always have fond memories of the Prowler in RW&B, for that hit on Judas Pink Pants alone.

He does provide utility value, but we have a number of younger players who can do the same if not better job than he does already under contract.

As soon as I heard that Smith was coming to the Roosters I thought of Riley and the Cordners and specifically what would happen to them in 2010. Well, it seems I have my answer with Riley, Dane but not Boyd. I have a feeling the Roosters will lose both Cordners back to the knoughts which appears to be a real shame.

I thought Riley was good for the Roosters before his injury so I wish him all the best at the wigers.

it may not be that simple LR, Boyd came here first and is signed long term and dane followed after what the knights players did to boyd in the NYC match.

maybe too much bad blood for the cordners to return.

I see Muz, thanks and I hope you're right about BOTH Cordners and that common sense will prevail. The NYC match you speak of is one of the few I watched and I think it's the one where the knoughts prop (jake ailomai scum ? - if he's under 20 I'm Mickey Mouse) breaks Boyd's jaw with a cheap shot using a leading shoulder. Remember thinking that if Morley did that he would have copped 12 weeks. Also remember waiting for the Roosters players to smash ailomai in return but I'm still waiting.

Guys - keep in mind that every year you have between 5-10 players who are no longer eligible to play NYC. The dilemma clubs face is that they can't offer contracts to all for the following years 'Top 25' players. So they either cull them, they get picked up by another club as part of THEIR 'Top 25' or join a NSW cup team.

Talking to my physio the other day after busting my ankle at the jamacian reggae festival, he told me that the dragons have only signed 4 of their current NYC players on for first grade next year (he is their official physio). This is a team that's kicked arse all year.

Also reckons Kane Linnett goes alright and will be a handy buy. Tall rangy centre will great speed and explosiveness.
