  • A Roosters First

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but I note that the Roosters achieved a first against the Dogs: According to Fox Sports Stats, they became the first team in the history of the game to win three consecutive games at a venue to nil.

    That's my understanding, as well.
Can we have the premiership trophy now?

That would be right. The Roosters in 1919 kept a team scoreless for three consecutive rounds. Canberra unfortunately put paid to that but this day and age it is still a fantastic effort.

In saying that, the Roosters have kept a clean sheet in their last 7/8 halves unless I have that wrong.

It's all because of the new gym. I tolds ya's all that the new Roosters torture chamber would be the difference with this squad. When they go there & train & see all the tradition from the past of this great club it inspires them.

I still think Souths will win the comp though.

        Go Penrith.

They'll win it, but only if they get 10-5 penalty counts in their favour in each of their finals games. That's the only way they can score enough points to compensate for their tissue paper defence.

Long way to go Melbourne Manlu (gulp) Souffs would lap us .As good as our defense is I actually think Manly's is better if Im right.

I think Manly are averaging only one try conceded per game - bloody amazing over six rounds.

Our attack is yet not right ...long way to go but I think we will get there a lot hinges on SKD hitting some form...Mini is Mini.....I would really like to see some thing done about our drop outs they are not very good .The top sides will punish us with these shorties.

Which is surprising as Maloney nailed a couple during the Foundation Cup. one went for over 70mtrs.

                  Chook.

I'm making a big call and predicting another shutout on ANZAC day.

It would be a supreme effort if they could do it and I really believe they can.

The Merge have got farrk all in attack and the only way I see them scoring is through a kick.

We'll be fresh and ready to go.

                        Bring on history.

                        Easts to win!!

ive been looking to see how many teams have held the opposition to 0 in a season and what was the most amount by one team. i believ 1935 was the last time 3 consecutive 0s were done (by us)..can find a stats page with that type of info
