Another point to add which emphasises this is that maubs in 25 this year which means that in 3 years time when this new deal expires he will be late 20s and likely on the way down. We have signed on a player with this much ability on middle of the road money - great result. He is also not one to now rest on his laurels - he is and always has been for the team. Great result for all!
That would be terrible if any decisions on recruiting were being based on what a player was doing in 2010.

I guess SKD was a horrible decision then. or is that just common knowledge?

I remember that game against souffs. It was amazing that we didn't get the spoon that year.

Aubo was so bad at 5/8th that we had to bring Anasta back from lock in the 2nd half.

That should be enough to tell you about his credentials in the halves.

Poor Chris Anderson, after that game against Manly where he had Anasta at halfback he resigned.

Hole runner, it sounds funny. They should call them gap runners. What do you think?

I mean making decisions now based on what players were doing in 2010. 3 years is a long time in football. I would be offering someone a contract based on what they have been doing in 2013 and what they did in 2012.

That, and where the club is headed and where he fits in with those plans. I don't know how he fits in. I love him as our right side backrower, but as it stands though he is a ways behind SBW, Cordner and I also think Guerra (left edge). He offers great cover in my opinion. Do you offer great cover a 3 or 4 year deal? At the right price I like the signing.

I'd have Aubo right, SBW left, Cordner Lock and Guerra on the bench and FPN has to earn his spot or by gaining 10 kilos so he can be a prop again.

When SBW left he was a right side player. He has picked up more skill, but he is still a right side player.
