I love him as our right side backrower, but as it stands though he is a ways behind SBW, Cordner and I also think Guerra (left edge). He offers great cover in my opinion. Do you offer great cover a 3 or 4 year deal? At the right price I like the signing.
The nerf ball struggles to carry around what he's got ffs.

I would have Guerra starting left side, SBW starting right side, and cordner starting lock with aubo on the bench.
aubo would be subbed on for Guerra, slotting in on the right side with SBW moving to the left side.
That way, everyone plays in position and SBW causes havoc on both sides of the field, throwing his textbook cut out balls to rts in the first half and throwing his classic offloads to Jennings in the second half.

mitchell aubusson is set to turn his back on a $350,000-a-year offer from st george illawarra and sign a four-year deal with the roosters this week.
Aubusson had been tipped to be the next big name to follow gareth widdop and joel thompson to the dragons.
It is understood the new deal at the roosters is worth about $300,000 a season and will keep him at the club until 2018.
Roosters ceo brian canavan confirmed aubusson, 25, was close to signing an extended deal.
"our discussions with mitch are well down the track," canavan said.
"we want mitchell here and he has indicated he wants to stay at the club. We are well advanced in keeping him here for a long period."
a second-rower who plays on the edge, aubusson has been a regular since making his debut for the club in 2007.
"he has been with the club for several years now and is a valuable part of this organisation," canavan said.
"he came to us on a scholarship program and played junior reps with us before making his first-grade debut in 2007. He is part of the fabric of our club and we definitely want him around for a long time."
canavan described aubusson as a born leader who contributes to the club both on and off the field.
"he is one of those rare role model-type players," canavan said.
"he is a great trainer and a very intelligent guy.
"off the field, he is just a great advertisement for a leader of a footy club.
"he is part of our extended leadership group and plays an important role."
the ballina junior was being courted by the dragons, who are now expected to ramp up negotiations with off-contract warriors back-rower feleti mateo.

Originally posted by The Mack View PostCorrect. SBW is still a right side player, as is Aubusson. For as long as both are here, I still think Aubusson should be on the bench, with SBW starting on the right. Then, either Guerra on the left and Cordner at lock, OR Cordner on the left and FPN at lock.Originally posted by roostersrule2 View PostWell he's not a lock/2nd row so that or he is gooooooooooone.

So I think guerra/Jennings left edge for 80 minutes is perfect. So if SBW and guerra play the 80 that allows us to carry another middle third player (Tasi). WHere that leaves Aubo...
Sure things can change easily but every successful side needs a Maubs, just doin the do every week, no complaints, no fark ups, no worries.
I am not discounting anyone as yet. Long way to go, and we haven't had a major injury as yet and the rep seasons just started.
I fully expect Tasi etc to play a part at some stage.

You know it makes sense.

He looks injured to me, often gets up slowly grabbing at his leg/knee.
I'm not saying it can't or won't happen but IMO I can't see him currently getting thru a full 1/2 of footy at the same intensity as the rest of the team.
