Apparently no form exists and it is something about getting referred by a member and then going on a waiting list for 3-4 years.

In other words, it's not what you know it's who you know, no matter what skills you may have to offer to improve the joint.

Talk about a freaking secret society. No wonder very little changes in the higher echelons.

unless you can find your way to one of the board members (because they would be the only names publicly available - despite my failure to find them online anywhere) and somehow convince them to put you up or guide you to someone who is willing

That's incorrect. A form does exist and once you have your personal details filled out you have to chase the signatures of two current members for endorsement.
Their attitude appals me....it's exactly the cold shoulder treatment i forewarned you about in my earlier post and to know that it still exists pisses me off even more. They obviously do not want "pleb" supporters amongst them. FFS they are running the football club like a communist organisation.
They have no right to deny or discourage membership.
Bring down the walls and take up the fight!!!!

The guy is an absolute cancer for this club, and has been for a very long time. He gets fantasy press that wraps him as being some mentor-like, one man saviour, ****ing godfather figure, from the same journalists you bag as being idiots at every other opportunity. Guess what? You're right!

The club will never be great again whilst he's within 100 ****ing miles of the joint

As mentioned in y'days post i encouraged my mate to go in personally (their office is in the SFS carpark) after he was promised twice it would be mailed to his home address.
Don't accept excuses or allow them to discourage your desire, afterall you are pledging SUPPORT FOR YOUR CLUB! If req'd, do not hesitate to demand to speak to Steve Noyce who gives us fans the impression he's approachable.
After last years dissapointing season Steve has been more than apologetic and sympathetic towards us fans.
Remember Morls, keep us all posted.

Morls, i'm not one of these anti-Politis supporters by any stretch of the imagination and my desire is the exact same as yours. I'm a life-long supporter who cares and being a member of the football club would enable me to have a say/vote on matters that shape our club.
It's the perceived closed shop attitude & deliberate cold shoulder treatment towards us interested supporters that pisses me right off. It's just not right!
