What a top defencive effort that was.
The whole team played well they all did the 1% percenter's. I actually thought Mini played a top game so did Maloney. Sam Moa is one tough nut for his size, Jake is reading the play & making some good decisions, Maubs is in the right place at the right time, SKD never missed a tackle, Jennings is a pure speedster who looks superb in full flight & Tupou is just what was needed out wide. Guerra continue's to do the dirty work & Kennedy showed some glimpses with that beard.

Im still interested to see how they go against Manly Newcastle & the Storm but overall the Roosters are probably the team that will worry the 3 I mentioned & Souths. I still dont think the Roosters can win the comp but they sure have a good team.

Because we havn't played the 3 other teams who I think will make the top 4 Storm, Newcaslte & probably Manly who have surprised me thats along with Souths who beat us.

It's only my opinion & Im only right half the time so who knows what will happen with Roosters this year.

If the Roosters have the same squad next year then I think they will compete for the title.

But overall jack they are a million times better side than last year & there is definately spirit & commitment in the Roosters jumper by all the players & I cant ask for anything more than that.

By the way your little mate Jake is playing a good standard of footy.

What will decide if we can win the comp this year?

The guys need to show the same sort of confidence and attitude against the big guns.

IMO, there are only probably 3 teams who can stop us winning it. (Storm, Manly and Souths)

My gut feeling is that this year will be the prelude to a 2014 to remember.

But let's hope I am wrong and we come of age this season.

Congratulations to the boys on winning the game against the Dragons today.
It was a great display of ANZAC spirit, with Australians and New Zealanders playing together in the mighty Red, White and Blue.
Great to see so many Roosters supporters out there today.
